Construction is triple cold moulded timber with Douglas Fir longitudinal planking and two diagonal oregan overlays, providing a very robust hull thickness of 32mm then covered in dynal sheathing as a chafing and moisture barrier.

Hull lines above water - trational clipper bow raked stem and transom, below water - fin keel with semi balanced rudder.

Decks are longitudinally planked Douglas Fir with a ply overlay and dynal; again hybrid traditional.

All medium density and dress timbers are New Guinnea rosewood individually purpose selected in their country of origin.

Keel is a steel box section with the lower half ecapsulating the lead ballast, and the upper forming an integral fuel tank.

Rigging is aluminium spars with stainless steel standing riggig; laminated oregan bowsprit.
